摘要
张祖翼以亲历者的所见所闻撰写的《伦敦竹枝词》展示了近代中国人观望西方的复杂心态,在考察中国漫长的现代化历程中具有重要意义.处在非中华文化场景中的张祖翼,其笔下的西方景观往往经过他的中国眼光的选取和过滤.张祖翼对西方的记录并非客观实录,而是以"自我"的眼光来观看"他者",伦敦呈现的是一个中国人眼中的被异化的西方印象,可以说是19世纪中华民族的思想史、心态史的显现.在文学表达上,《伦敦竹枝词》也表现出作者从固有经验开始转向对新格局的尝试与追寻.
Abstract
London Zhu-Zhi-Ci,written by Zhang Zuyi with his own experience,shows the complex mentality of modern Chinese people to look at the West,which is of great significance in investigating China's long modernization process.Zhang Zuyi,who is situated in a non-Chinese cultural setting,often selects and filters Western landscapes through his Chinese perspective.Zhang Zuyi's record of the West is not an objective record,but a view of"the other"from the perspective of"the self".London presents an alienated Western impression in the eyes of the Chinese people,which can be said to be the manifesta-tion of the history of the Chinese nation's ideology and mentality in the 19th century.In terms of literary expression,London Zhu-Zhi-Ci also demonstrates the author's attempt and pursuit shifted from inherent experience to new patterns.
