Analysis of the Design and Application in the In-Vehicle Visualization Interface to Reduce the Driver's Cognitive Load
With the advances in the automotive industry and the intelligent technology, the information provided by in-vehicle systems has become more abundant. While users are enjoying more comprehensive information services, they also need to work harder on dealing with more information.Based on the cognitive load theory, this paper analyzes the causes of the cognitive load generated in the process of the driver's interaction with the in-vehicle visualization interface, and then conducts a study on the interface of some of the in-vehicle systems to figure out the design and application that can effectively reduce the driver's cognitive load. The study aims to provide reference for the optimization of in-vehicle visualization interface.
