Research on the Design of Children's Picture Books Based on Image Narrative
Children's picture books,whose unique combination of pictures and texts is widely favored by many young readers,are an important type of books for children's early literacy development.This thesis explores the multi-level narrative structure of children's picture books from the perspective of image narrative,analyzes the role of the components of children's picture books namely,picture,color and text,in the storytelling of picture books,and then proposes corresponding design strategies..The purpose of the paper is to provide design ideas for the writers to improve the storytelling of the picture books,so as to create better children's picture books that are helpful for children's healthy growth.
