Research on Design of Chinese Ancient Architectural Style Yacht Based on Shape Grammar
This study aims to improve the systematization and standardization of the yacht design process while exploring existing styles in yacht design.The article firstly takes the representative Chinese ancient architecture of the Prayer Hall as the research object,extracts its shape as the initial shape,then applies shape grammar rules to the initial shapes to form a set of shapes that conform to the architectural style of the Temple of Heaven.Finally,based on the constraints related to yacht design,the author selects the shape to complete the stylized yacht design.It proves that shape grammar can not only achieve yacht styling,but can also ensure the standardization and systematicity of the design process.
