Research on Inheritance and Development of Tie-dyeing Techniques in Dali from a Comparative Perspective
The tie-dye art in Dali area has a long history,exquisite craft and rich connotation,and is an important part of Chinese tie-dye art.This study takes Puzhen Tie-dyeing Museum,Xingwei Ethnic Tie-dyeing Factory and Lanxu Ancient Tie-dye Workshop,three representative Dali tie-dyeing institutions as research objects.Using the method of field investigation and case study,the author deeply explains the measures taken by the three institutions to promote the inheritance and development of Dali tie-dye techniques and their positive influence.The comparative analysis shows that the three institutions have respectively played a significant role in the dynamic inheritance,fusion innovation and local link of Dali tie-dye techniques,and jointly promoted the sustainable inheritance and development of Dali tie-dye skills.Their experiences have certain reference value for the future development of Dali tie-dye techniques and the inheritance and development of other traditional handicrafts.
