Analysis and Innovative Application of Dong Embroidery Pattern of"Eight Dishes and One Soup"
Dong embroidery has a long history and abundant cultural connotations.Therefore,the use of traditional Dong embroidery patterns in packaging design can enhance the beauty and cultural charm of packaging,and is also conducive to the dissemination and promotion of the excellent traditional culture of the Dong people.Taking the"Eight Dishes and One Soup"pattern in the Dong embroidery in Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as the research object,this paper analyzes its cultural connotation and aesthetic characteristics.Then a practice of innovative application of the"Eight Dishes and One Soup"pattern is carried out by extracting the representative elements of the pattern and re-designing the color based on the original color scheme.The innovative pattern is finally applied to various shapes of gift box packaging design.The study hopes to explore the potential of the innovative application of traditional Dong embroidery patterns,and provide new ideas for the inheritance and development of ethnic culture.
