Study of Public Transportation Demand of the Sojourn Elderly Based on Grounded Theory
This study provides an in-depth exploration of the public transportation needs of the sojourn elderly based on Grounded Theory.Using open and selective coding methods,semi-structured interviews were conducted with 22 elderly individuals residing in Sanya to identify the key factors affecting their public transportation experience.These factors include travel convenience,station facilities,information services,and accessibility services.The study found that travel convenience,the comfort and safety of station facilities are the main factors influencing sojourn elderly users'willingness to use public transportation.The accuracy of information services and the completeness of accessibility facilities also directly impact the frequency and satisfaction of sojourn elderly users'travel.By constructing the PUE model,this study provides a theoretical framework for optimizing public transportation systems,aiming to improve the travel quality and social participation of sojourn elderly users.
