Research on the Improvement in the Public Education Services of Design Exhibitions-A Case Study of MoMA's Good Design Exhibition Series
The museum's value judgment and academic thinking on design is directly reflected in the details from the selection of design collection to the planning of design exhibition.Western art museums have developed mature displaying modes which are in line with their own academic pursuit as well as their development goals over a long period of time,playing an important role in raising social aesthetic awareness,studying design culture,and promoting development of design.The MoMA's famous Good Design exhibition series is a classic case in point.In order to provide a reference for today's art museums,this article takes Good Design exhibition series as an example to analyse in depth how the social factors have a direct bearing on the ideas of exhibition design,and explores the strategies for adjusting the idea to suit a number of changes of times to offer a better public education service.
