Research on the Application of Huizhou Woodcarving Patterns in Packaging Design
Huizhou woodcarving is a traditional folk craft popular in Huizhou,and Huizhou woodcarving works have various types of patterns with rich connotations,which can provide inspirations and elements for modern design.This paper retraces the development history of Huizhou woodcarving,then analyzes the types and connotations of Huizhou woodcarving patterns.On this basis,the application methods of Huizhou woodcarving patterns in packaging design are proposed,including:meeting the demand for brand differentiation,finding the matching point between patterns and people's daily life,and innovating the expression of traditional cultural symbols.This study aims to provide new artistic inspirations for packaging design and to promote the organic integration of traditional culture and modern commercial needs.
