Objective To quantitatively evaluate the effect of optimal monochromatic imaging technique and non-linear blend-ing technique for dual-energy CT on image of pulmonary angiography. Methods Imaging data of 28 patients with pulmonary em-bolism were retrospectively analyzed.Data obtained with 100 kVp,140kVp,non-linear blending images and optimized monoener-getic images were divided into group A,B,C and D respectively.CT value of emboli, noise value of emboli and CT value of adja-cent vessel were measured, signal to noise ratio(SNR)and contrast to noise ratio(CNR)were calculated.Corresponding statis-tical analysis was carried out. Results There was no statistical difference for CT value of CTPA among the four groups. The differences of noise,CNR,and SNR parameters were statistically significant(P<0.05),and among them,non-linear blending images showed superior quality. The optimal monoenergetic images also had certain advantages over the conventional ones.Con-clusion Non-linear blending technique and optimal monochromatic imaging technique can optimize the imaging quality of pulmo-nary artery images.
