Lung cancer is a rapidly progressing disease with poor prognosis.Accurate pre-treatment staging and prognostic e-valuation can improve the diagnosis and treatment management of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).18F-FDG PET/CT can accurately reflect the biological characteristics of tumors at the molecular level,quantitatively evaluate treatment response meta-bolic changes,and play an important role in pre-treatment staging evaluation,treatment response evaluation,recurrent disease detection,and prognosis prediction.This article reviews the current application status and research progress of 18F-FDG PET/CT in prognosis evaluation of NSCLC.
