Objective To analyze the genotype distribution and infection characteristics of human papillomavirus(HPV)in gynecological patients in Binzhou People's Hospital, and provide references for local cervical cancer prevention and treatment. Methods Human papillomavirus(HPV)genotypes, single and multiple infection rates were statistically analyzed in gynecologi-cal patients from January 2020 to December 2022.Results In 2020,2021 and 2022,a total of 22 580 HPV-positive cases were detected, and a total of 4 458 HPV-positive cases were detected, with the positive rate 19.86%.The positive rate was 14.62%in 3 301 patients with single HPV genotype and 5.24%in 1 184 patients with multiple HPV genotype.Statistical analysis of HPV genotypes of patients infected in 2020,2021 and 2022 showed that:the top five types of high-risk HPV(HR-HPV)were HPV52,HPV16,HPV58,HPV51,and HPV68,while the first type of low-risk HPV infection was HPV42.The genotype with the least amount of HPV infection was HPV 83.In terms of age, from 2020 to 2022,the majority of HPV infected people were 21~60 years old,126 cases of HPV infected people were ≤20 years old,and the youngest age was 16 years old. There were 153 cases of HPV infection in>60 years old,and the oldest age was 87 years old.The multiple infection rate of HPV in these two age groups was higher than that in 21~-60 years old. Conclusion HPV52 was the most common infection in local patients,fol-lowed by HPV16.HPV infection was mainly single type, and the proportion of multiple infection could not be ignored.HPV gen-otype detection is an important means of cervical cancer screening.
