Protective effect of early immune microecological enteral nutrition on liver function in rats with severe acute pancreatitis
Objective To investigate the protective effect of early immune microecological enteral nutrition on liver function in rats with severe acute pancreatitis(SAP).Methods One hundred and twenty healthy male SD rats were randomly divided in-to 4 groups:the normal control group(SO group),the severe acute pancreatitis model group(SAP group),the early enteral nu-trition group(EEN group),and the ecological immune nutrition group(EIN group). Each group was further divided into three sub-groups(n=10):12 h,24 h and48 h.Except for the normal control group,SAP model was prepared by retrograde pancre-atic bile duct injection with 5%sodium taurocholate in other groups. The abdominal aorta blood was collected to detect serum AMY,LPS,ALT and AST levels.Serum TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-10 levels were detected by ELISA.Pancreas and liver tissues were stained with HE and histological changes were observed. The protein expressions of p-STAT3 and cleaved caspase-3 in liver tis-sues were observed by western blotting. Results AMY,LPS,ALT and AST levels in the EEN group and the EIN group were lower than those in the SAP group at each time point after model making, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Compared with the EEN group at the same time point, serum TNF-α and IL-6 levels in the EIN group at each time point were sig-nificantly decreased, while IL-10 levels were significantly increased, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Com-pared with the EEN group and the SAP group, liver p-STAT3 and cleaved caspase-3 protein expression were significantly reduced in the EIN group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Early use of immune microecological enteral nutrition intervention can significantly improve pathological damage of pancreas and liver, significantly inhibit activation of p-STAT3 in liver tissue, inhibit expression of cleaved caspase-3 protein, and have a protective effect on liver function.
