The ecological adaptability of five turfgrass species
The responses of five turfgrass species to various limiting temperature, moisture and light were determined. The results indicated that Bermudagrass and tall fescue had better environmental adaptability than bluegrass, ryegrass and red rescue, but rough stalk bluegrass, ryegrass and red fescue had special physiological environment adaptability, rough stalk bluegrass is a short-day, temperature-loving plant, which has better shady-tolerance.
