Study on productivity of Tall Fescue (Fescuca arundinacea Schreb.) in response to different cutting techniques
Tall Fescue can adapt to local semi-arid climate and soil conditions well and endure different cutting treatments to certain degree. However, heavy and continuous cutting caused substantial decrease in forage productions cutting frequency of every 30 days with 10 cm stubble height was most suitable for forage production as well as sustainable development. The result will be greatly useful for development of animal production, as well as grassland construction and recovery.
