Global view on Karst rock desertification and integrating control measures and experiences of China
The understanding on Karst desertification origins was from Ming dynasty Xu Xiake Age in China. Many Karst types and different rock desertification intensity resulting from the natural and artificial factors, were found in southwest China, therefore, the research achievement and integrating control measures benefit the international Karst theory development and other country's rock desertification harness. This paper discusses the distribution, present situation and regional features of Karst rock desertification. On the basis of summary of Karst rock desertification current status and control strategies, some new views in terms of scientific and technological aspects for integrating control measures, have been put forward.
