为探究印度梨形孢(Piriformospora indica)缓解盐碱对早熟禾(Poa pratensis)的胁迫效应,以早熟禾为材料,通过对照试验法,设置两因素不同水平,测定早熟禾的生长、生理及土壤指标.结果表明:印度梨形孢与早熟禾共生能有效缓解盐碱胁迫造成的损伤,显著促进盐碱胁迫下早熟禾的地上部分和根系生长.接种印度梨形孢刺激了早熟禾叶片的抗氧化防御系统,减轻了超氧阴离子对叶片细胞的伤害,也能降低过氧化氢(H2O2)、丙二醛(MDA)含量和相对电导率(REC);同时增加叶绿素和渗透调节物质含量在细胞内的累积,维持细胞相对含水量,从而提高早熟禾对盐碱胁迫的抗性;根系活力和土壤中氮、磷、钾含量变化也从侧面反映出印度梨形孢可缓解盐碱胁迫对早熟禾的不利影响.因此,印度梨形孢与早熟禾共生可以促进盐碱胁迫下早熟禾生长,提高其耐盐碱能力,并实现盐碱土壤的间接改良.
Effects of Piriformospora indica on the morphology and physiology of Poa pratensis under salt-alkali stress
In this study,we examined the alleviative effects of the fungus Piriformospora indica on the grass Poa pratensis under conditions of saline-alkali stress,in which we determined the effects on the growth,physiology,and soil indicators of P.pratensis during the later stages of growth.The results revealed that the symbiosis between P.indica and P.pratensis can effectively alleviate the damage caused by saline-alkali stress,and promote significant growth of the shoots and roots of P.pratensis under these stress conditions.Inoculation with P.indica was also found to enhance the antioxidant defense system in the leaves of P.pratensis,thereby contributing to an effective reduction in the damage caused to leaf cells by superoxide anions.Moreover,we detected reductions in the contents of H2O2 and malondialdehyde,as well as values of the RES index.Furthermore,this treatment was also found to promote increases in the contents of chlorophyll and osmoregulatory substances in cells,the latter of which contributed to maintaining the relative water content of cells,thereby enhancing the resistance of P.pratensis to salt-alkali stress.The detected root activity and nitrogen,phosphorus,and potassium contents in soil also indicated that P.indica has an alleviatory effect on P.pratensis plants exposed to salt-alkali stress.Our findings in this study thus indicate that P.indica can enhance the salt-alkali tolerance of P.pratensis,and that this treatment can indirectly contribute to improving saline-alkali soil.
