Experimental Study on Flocculation and Electroosmosis of Borehole Pile Waste Mud
The waste mud from drilling piles has become a major challenge in the field of environmental protection in practical engineering construction due to its high water content, high fluidity, and the risk of secondary pollution caused by improper handling. In order to achieve better dewatering effect of waste mud, this article uses four different flocculants to conduct flocculation electroosmosis tests on the waste mud of drilling piles. The treatment effects of various flocculants were compared using water output, current density, turbidity and water content as evaluation indicators. The results showed that when the dosage of anionic flocculant was 30ml,its flocculation electroosmosis effect was the best, and the water content of waste mud decreased significantly after flocculation electroosmosis treatment.Research has shown that the combination of electroosmosis and flocculation sedimentation method(i.e.,chemical electroosmosis treatment method)is feasible and effective, and is worth promoting on a large scale.
