Study on the Application Status of Steel Slag Asphalt Mixture in Road Engineering
This paper briefly introduces the application of steel slag in asphalt mixture production, summarizes the nature of iron and steel smelting slag in China and the existing problems in comprehensive resource utilization, and elaborates on the properties of steel slag asphalt mixture and its application in road engineering and highway maintenance. It is found that the treated steel slag asphalt mixture has good road performance, and the relevant properties can meet the requirements of road related specifications, which prospects the application prospect of steel slag in asphalt mixture.
