Research Numerical Simulation of GPR Based on GprMax for the Road Cavity
As an emerging detection technology, 3D ground-penetrating radar (GPR) has the characteristics of fast, efficient and non-destructive detection, which is widely used in the detection of road damage body. To quickly grasp the electromagnetic response characteristics of underground cavities under GPR and accurately identify the road cavity detection to provide technical guidance, in this paper, we use GprMax software based on the principle of time-domain finite-difference method to perform forward simulation for cavities with different shapes, sizes and fillers. The results of forward simulation are used to obtain different types of radar data bodies and analyze the radar wave field response characteristics of different types of cavity lesions.
