Application of Stress Relief by Overcoring at The Laoyingpan unnel section
Based on the Laoyingpan tunnel project, this paper uses the stress relief method to test the in-situ stress at Z1K17 + 880 of the tunnel section. From the original rock strain in the measuring hole, the original rock stress is indirectly calculated by using the constitutive relationship of the rock. At the same time, the rock core is made into a standard specimen, and the indoor test is carried out to obtain the mechanical parameters of the original rock. The results show that the maximum principal stress is 27.44 MPa, the dip angle is −16.56°, the azimuth angle is 192.60°, and the ratio of the compressive strength of the measured rock to the maximum principal stress of the tunnel is 0.24. The test results show that the tunnel measuring point belongs to the extremely high ground stress state, and the tunnel may have large deformation of soft rock during construction.
