Analysis of the Importance of ESG Rating System in Sustainable Transport Development
Based on a sample of 73 listed companies in the transportation industry in 2023,this paper derives the comprehensive ESG score of the transportation industry through the hierarchical analysis method,in order to analyse the impact of the ESG evaluation system on the transportation industry,and to explore its role and significance in promoting sustainable development of the transportation.The study finds that the ESG evaluation system not only helps transport enterprises in green transformation,but also promotes the fulfilment of their social responsibility and the optimisation of their governance structure,which provides strong support for the sustainable development of the industry.
