Research on Ecological Impact Analysis and Sustainable Development of Highway Corridor
The opening to traffic of expressways has far-reaching significance to regional traffic, tourism, economy and social development, but the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of expressways inevitably have certain conflicts with the ecological environmental protection objectives of expressways. Taking Xingtai-Handan section of Taihang Mountain Expressway as an example, this paper analyzes the ecological impact of Taihang Mountain expressway construction on the ecologically sensitive area by means of remote sensing geoscience correlation analysis and GIS spatial overlay analysis. It is found that some sections of expressways directly occupy grassland, forest, water body, wetland and other ecosystems and sensitive areas of ecological environment, and their construction and operation will inevitably affect micro-ecosystems such as soil structure, physical and chemical properties, native vegetation communities, animal habitats, and patch fragmentation in the traffic corridor. It is suggested to strictly limit and control the ecological impact boundary of expressways in planning, construction, operation and maintenance, continue to complete ecological restoration and restoration with high standards, and enrich the connotation of "traffic+" green development,so as to continue to promote high-quality development of expressways.
