Impacts of Highways-roadside Photovoltaic Panels on Driving Vision
To address the insufficient research on the impact of roadside photovoltaic panels on driving vision on highways, based on the Highway project, through experimental research and on-site testing,we examined the glare effect of photovoltaic panels located on highway slopes. The results show that the roadside slope solar panels do not yet pose significant glare conditions.Although their reflective brightness is higher than that of the asphalt road surface, this brightness difference does not significantly affect human vision or the basic reaction ability of drivers.Specific strategies and measures to mitigate the impact of brightness differences are proposed, which can provide technical references for the safe construction of photovoltaic panels on highway slopes.
