Environmental Protection Measures during the Construction of Railway Projects
This paper discusses the environmental protection measures and their effects in railway engineering construction, aiming to provide reference for related research and practical application.Railway construction involves a large amount of land and resource consumption, which may cause significant impacts on the environment. Therefore, advanced methods such as soil and water environmental risk assessment, construction waste management and multi-source information fusion technology have been gradually applied to railway construction to enhance environmental protection and sustainability. This paper summarises the relevant studies, details the practical effects of these methods in railway construction and their advantages and disadvantages, and discusses the direction of future research. These include methods for comprehensively evaluating soil and water environmental risks, life cycle assessment of construction waste, and environmental protection solutions in railway line design, all of which can help reduce the negative impacts of construction on the ecosystem and achieve sustainable development.
