Environmental Practices Based on the Slope Engineering of the Liuwu Railway Project
With the rapid development of railway infrastructure and the growing emphasis on environmental protection, there is increasing awareness of the environmental issues associated with railway projects.Large-scale earthworks often lead to vegetation damage, soil erosion, and potential geological hazards. However, through effective slope stabilization, these environmental challenges can be significantly mitigated or even avoided, making slope stability and its environmental impact critical concerns. This paper, drawing on case studies from the Liuwu Railway project, discusses the importance of environmental protection and the strategies to address these challenges. This work not only enhances understanding of the current environmental status of slope engineering, but also supports the railway industry's move towards sustainable and green development, contributing to the nation's"dual carbon"goals.
