Influence of Complex Geological Conditions on Tunnel Construction and Numerical Simulation
The construction problems of Zijingyaoshan Tunnel on Liuwu railway under complex geological conditions are deeply analyzed and discussed.The tunnel has passed through many complex geological areas such as argillaceous siltstone,red clay,fault zone,gently inclined bed and siltstone,which pose severe challenges to the safety,stability and efficiency of construction.In order to deal with these challenges,numerical simulation techniques such as finite element method(FEM),discrete element method(DEM)and finite difference method(FDM)are adopted,the stress distribution,deformation mode and potential instability region of surrounding rock under different geological conditions are comprehensively evaluated.The simulation results show that the stress concentration and deformation characteristics of the surrounding rock are significantly different under various geological conditions,especially in the red clay and fault zone.Based on the simulation results,construction optimization techniques and safety measures for different geological conditions are proposed,which provides scientific basis and practical guidance for similar projects.In the future,large data analysis and intelligent monitoring technology should be combined to improve the safety and efficiency of tunnel construction.
