Does Social Behavior Predict Bookstore Satisfaction?——A Mixed Study from an Environmental Psychology Perspective
From the perspective of environmental psychology, this study employed the quantitative and qualitative methods to examine the relationship between social behavior and bookstore statisfaction.Firstly, the hierarchical multiple linear regression was conducted on the sample(N=1604)collected by questionaire survey, revealing that social behavior significantly and positively predicts satisfaction.Additionally,semi-structured interviews were conducted with reader(N=16).The findings suggest that bookstore satisfaction is formed through the following paths:the bookstore environment building the public sphere, cultural distance reducing the social distance between readers, and social support generating bookstore spatial attachment, which contributes to overall satisfaction.Suggestions are proposed based on these findings.
