Exploring the three characteristics of virtual reality media,namely immersiveness,interactivity and imagination,in narrative,and elucidating its revolutionizing impact on traditional narrative approaches.lt reveals that privacy challenges are increasingly prominent behind immersive and innovative experiences,and privacy issues that need to be addressed include data leakage that may lead to unnecessary disclosure of user information,psychological manipulation that may lead to psychological harm,and violation of spatial privacy that may weaken user autonomy.Finally,possible paths of privacy protection are discussed in depth from technical,ethical and legal perspectives,with a view to informing narrative practices that balance user experience and privacy security in virtual reality media.
