The Leap of Cihaiin Digitalization:Explorations,Practices,and Thoughts on Cloud Platform Construction
This paper reviews the construction process of the Cihai digital publishing cloud platform,summarizes the achievements and shortcomings of the project construction,and proposes ideas for the future development of the platform.It elaborates on the construction background and process of the Cihai digital publishing cloud platform,including the program formulation and approval,project construction,trial operation,and official launch;summarizes the construction achievements:a multi-dimensional online version of Cihai,an integrated Cihai knowledge service platform,and a stable and smooth Cihai operation and security system;points out the shortcomings:an insufficient number of entries in the database and a single user group,the relatively simple knowledge presentation methods and lagging update speed,the academic framework and knowledge structure needing to be improved,the operability,compatibility,and expansibility of the software system needing to be enhanced,and the lack of an organizational management system that meets the requirements of compiling large digital dictionaries;proposes the optimization strategies:increasing the number of entries in the database and expanding the user range,enriching the methods of knowledge presentation and updating knowledge in a timely manner,optimizing the academic framework and knowledge structure,continuously upgrading technology and services,establishing an organizational management system that meets the requirements of the digital age,and so on.
