An Empirical Study on Authors'Personal Information Protection in Academic Journals—Taking Journalism&Communication CSSCI Source Journals as An Example
This article comprehensively examines the situation of authors'personal information protection in academic journals in order to promote the standardization of authors'personal information protection in academic journals.The article empirically analyzes authors'personal information collection,personal information inscription,and personal information deletion and storage of the 17 CSSCI source journals of journalism and communication,conducts questionnaire analysis on the scholars and students of journalism and communication disciplines,and finds that there are problems such as non-minimization of personal information collection,hollowing out of the principle of informed consent,and deflation of the industry standards.It is proposed to formulate industry-wide self-regulatory policies,fully guarantee authors'rights to know,follow the principle of minimum necessity,and build an information security guarantee mechanism to solve the problems.
