Research on the Optimization Strategy for Knowledge Services of Science Popularization Journals Under the Background of"Double Reduction"
The paper explores the direction and strategies for the development of knowledge services of science popularization journals so as to support the comprehensive implementation of the "Double Reduction" policy and enhance the quality of science education. Utilizing the research methods such as the literature research and the case research, the paper analyzes the practices of knowledge services in the 20 "Excellent Science Popularization Journals" published by the National Press and Publication Administration in 2023. It is found that the diverse forms of knowledge services offered by science popularization journals can meet the needs of the "Double Reduction"policy and provide effective support for the implementation. However, there are also some shortcomings such as the social and ecological environments needing optimization and the knowledge service capabilities requiring enhancement. Strategies are proposed from two aspects: external motivation and internal strengthening. By optimizing the top-level design and coordinating resource allocation, incentives can be created for science popularization journals to serve the "Double Reduction" efforts. Science popularization journals should accurately position themselves, strengthen innovation, align with the needs, enhance the production capacity of knowledge service products, and promote the construction of knowledge service platforms.
