Promoting Global Research Integrity and Working Together for Tackling New Challenges——Interpretation and Thoughts of the Focuses of the 8th World Conference on Research Integrity
This paper provides guidance and reference for the construction of research integrity in China through interpreting the focuses of the 8th World Conference on Research Integrity. The previous World Conferences on Research Integrity are briefly reviewed. The focuses of the 8th World Conference on Research Integrity are interpreted,including establishing an expandable global research integrity framework,promoting research results to be transformed into trustworthy technological and social innovation,and coping with the challenges of artificial intelligence and essay mills. Finally,several suggestions on the construction of research integrity in China are put forward based on the journal publication experience,such as giving full play to the role of academic journal editors,strengthening research and exchanges on research integrity,and integrating into the international research integrity construction system.
