Research on the Teaching Reform of Soil Mechanics under OBE Concept
In order to better implement the Outcome-Based Education(OBE)concept,this paper takes learning outcomes as the guide and student needs as the foundation.A questionnaire survey has been conducted on the de-mand for course content among over 500 graduates from civil engineering and hydrology majors with different em-ployment destinations.The survey results showthat there are significant differences in the level of demand for vari-ous knowledge points in the course of Soil Mechanics among students from different majors and employment destina-tions.Based on the survey results,this paper proposes teaching reform measures for the Soil Mechanics course from four aspects,and provides specific implementation methods,which are helpful in enhancing the interest and attrac-tiveness of the course and improving teaching effectiveness.
