With the rapid application of information technology in all walks of life,the role and status of education-al informatization are increasingly apparent.By analyzing the teaching characteristics and teaching status of civil en-gineering majors and combing the research status of teaching resource construction of civil engineering majors under the background of information technology,the necessity of teaching resource construction and the problems faced in the construction process are analyzed.The paper introduces the construction path of civil engineering teaching re-sources in Changchun Institute of Technology from two aspects,namely the construction of digital resources for theo-retical courses and the construction of digital resources for practical teaching,and providing reference for the con-struction of civil engineering teaching resources in universities.
