Experimental Study on Mechanical Properties of Fly Ash Recycled Concrete
Using discarded concrete test blocks from testing institutions as raw materials for recycled coarse aggregates, concrete with different replacement rates of coarse aggregates is prepared, and appropriate a-mounts of fly ash are added to make specimens(with replacement rates of 0,30%,60%,100%,respective-ly) for concrete cube compression, splitting tensile, axial compression, and elastic modulus tests.By observ-ing the failure process and failure mode, the load-displacement full process curve is obtained, and the con-stitutive equation is studied and proposed. The test results show that compared with natural aggregate con-crete,various mechanical indicators of fly ash recycled aggregate concrete first show an increasing trend with the increase of the replacement rate of recycled aggregate, and when reaching the peak, all mechanical indicators decrease. The stress-strain curves of both have similar shapes. In the ascending phase, the stress-strain curves of recycled concrete and natural concrete do not have change much, but in the descent phase, the stress-strain curve of recycled concrete drops sharply.
