Research on the Influence of Composite Fiber on the Performance of Recycled Coarse Aggregate Asphalt Mixture
In order to improve the utilization rate of construction waste and enhance the road performance of recycled coarse aggregate asphalt mixture(RA-AM),the mass content of composite fiber in asphalt mix-ture is studied to be 0.3%.The mass ratios of xylem fiber to basalt fibers are selected as 0∶1,1∶3,1∶1,3∶1 and 1∶0,respectively,so as to determine the optimal composite ratio of xylem fiber(XF)and basalt fiber(BF)in RA-AM.The results show that as the proportion of xylem fiber increases,MS,T,the dynamic stability,MS1,MS0 first increases and then decreases, while FL first decreases and then increases. When the blending ratio is 25%,m(xylem fiber):m(basalt fiber)=1∶3,MS、T、the dynamic stability,MS1,MS0 are the highest, and FL is the lowest.Compared with pure asphalt, the MS of the mixture increases by 75.55%,FL decreases by 29.38%,T increases by 148.46%,dynamic stability increases by 57.62%,MS1 in-creases by 120.59%,and MS0 increases by 25.66%.Therefore,the combination of BF and XF has better influence than single doping, and the best effect is achieved when m(XF):m(BF)=1∶3.
