Study on the Method of Microwave-Assisted Extraction of Flavonoids from Red Tangerine and Pummelo Peel
Using the extraction rate of total flavonoids as the evaluation index,a single factor microwave-as-sisted method is used to extract flavonoids from traditional Chinese medicine red tangerine and pummelo peel.It uses high-performance liquid chromatography to detect five monomeric flavonoids,naringin,hesper-idin,neohesperidin,nobiletin,and hesperetin. The optimized extraction conditions are microwave power of 1 200 W,ethanol volume concentration of 80%,solid-liquid ratio of 1∶30,extraction temperature is 90℃,and extraction time of 15 minutes.Under optimial conditions, the extraction rates of total flavonoids from pummelo peel and red tangerine are 31.02~33.51 mg/g and 24.26~30.75 mg/g,respectively.The result is shown that naringin is detected in both red tangerine and pummelo peel, with the highest content of nar-ingin is up to 0.50 mg/g.No hesperidin is detected.Hesperidin and neohesperidin are detected in partial red tangerine and pummelo peel samples. It provides a methodological reference for the extraction of flavonoids from red tangerine and pummelo peel,as well as a data reference for quality evaluation of red tangerine and pummelo peel.
