The Way of College Construction to Inherit and Innovate University Culture——History of College of Mechanical Engineering
Universities not only carry the functions of personnel training,scientific research,social service,but also the heavy responsibility of cultural inheritance and innovation. In the process of the development of Changchun University of Science and Technology,the cultural essence accumulated by Academician Wang Daheng and other pioneers of the older generation has played an important role in the establishment of cultural self-confidence and cultural self-improvement for the teachers and students through the continuous screening,sorting,dissemination and exchange of the University's striving generations. In combination with the history of the development of the college of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering,this paper analyzes the cultural heritage formed in the course of the University's history,and its connotation essence forms the college culture of integration of knowledge and action and pursuit of excellence through inheritance and innovation,and builds it into a special spiritual lineage,giving full play to its profound educational power.
