Design of Optical System of Large Aperture Long Focal Length Star Simulator
In order to improve the aperture and focal length of the star simulator, the collimating optical system of the star simulator is proposed based on the reflector system of the long focal distance axis.Firstly, the parameter requirements of the star simulator and the advantages and disadvantages of the optical system configuration are studied, and the collimation optical system structure is determined.Secondly, the optical system parameters are optimized and the image quality is ana-lyzed.Finally,the practical indexes of the system are tested to verify the feasibility of the optical system. The optimization results show that the aperture of the system is Φ510 mm,the focal length is 5 000 mm,the wave aberration of the system is≤0.049λ,the RMS radius of the point diagram is less than 2.589 μm,the MTF of each field of view is close to the dif-fraction limit, the distortion is less than 0.002%,and the field curvature is less than 0.2 mm.The experimental results show that the wave aberration of the system is 0.061 6 λ,the magnitude simulation range is+7~+12 Mv,and the magnitude simulation error is 0.08 Mv,which realizes the accurate simulation of high magnitude stars.
