倾斜光纤光栅结合SPR效应折射率传感范围研究

倾斜光纤光栅(TFBG)结合表面等离激元谐振(SPR)现象,可以实现对外界折射率的高精度传感.这一组合不仅可以提高传感的灵敏度,还可以拓宽传感范围,目前TFBG-SPR传感器的研究集中于对生物物质、气体、化学成分等检测的具体应用.TFBG-SPR传感器的传感范围与光栅倾角有关,不同的倾角会改变光栅内部的光波导模式分布,进而影响到SPR效应的激发条件及其对外界折射率变化的响应范围.实际应用中TFBG倾角与传感范围的关系还不明确.本文给出了结合理论和仿真计算分析不同倾角TFBG-SPR传感范围的方法,用 5°倾角TFBG-SPR传感器进行了折射率传感的实验验证,对TFBG-SPR传感器的设计有重要参考意义.
Research on Refractive Index Sensing Range of Tilted Fiber Bragg Grating Combined with SPR Effect
Tilted fiber Bragg grating(TFBG)combined with surface plasmon resonance(SPR)effect can achieve high-precision sensing of external refractive index.This combination can not only enhance the sensitivity of sensing but can also broaden the sensing range.Currently,research on TFBG-SPR sensors focuses on specific applications for the detection of biomaterials,gases,chemical components,and more.The sensing range of the TFBG-SPR sensor is related to the tilt angle of the grating.Different tilt angles can change the distribution of optical waveguide modes within the grating,thereby affect-ing the excitation conditions of the SPR effect and its response range to changes in external refractive index.The relation-ship between the TFBG tilt angle and the sensing range in practical applications is not yet clear.Inthis paper,we provide a method of analyzing the sensing range of TFBG-SPR with different tilt angles by combing relative theory and tilt angle simulation.Refractive index sensing experimentby a TFBG-SPR sensor with 5° tilt angle is carried out and verified our method.The work of this paper has important reference significance for the design of TFBG-SPR sensors.
