Confucius' disciple Zixia was the most knowledgeable figure in the Confucian school. After Confucius' death, it was the Zixia school that greatly promoted and expanded the academic legacy of Confucian classics. Zixia recruited a large number of students, established an educational institution in Xihe, became the national teacher of Duke Wen of Wei, held a prestigious position, enjoyed a long life, and made significant contributions to the inheritance of Confucian academic tradition.
