The Syntax, Semantics and Lexicalization of the Short-term Adverb "yishijian(一时间)"
The short-term adverb"yishijian"has some semantic characteristics such as instantaneity, suddenness, and dynamic changes. The position of"yishijian"in a sentence is relatively flexible and belongs to the category of transferable adverbs, forming special collocations such as"yishijianli(一时间里)"and"buyishijian(不一时间)". In terms of lexicalization,"yishijian"is composed of two syllable adverbs"yishi"and"jian". The fusion and generalization of semantics, changes in syntactic environment, and cognitive chunks are the driving forces behind the lexicalization of"yishijian".
