Exploring the Pathways to Enhance the Utilization of Teaching Resources for Pre-service International Chinese Teachers
With the rise of professional status of International Chinese Language Education and the publication of related standards, training International Chinese language teachers, especially pre-service teachers, has become an urgent problem. The essence of utilizing teaching resources by pre-service international Chinese language teachers is the operation of high-order thinking abilities. This process is characterized by transfer-ability, implicitness, and creativity. Based on the"Visible Learning" series of studies and guided by transferable capabilities, this article explores the enhancement path of the teaching resource utilization abilities of pre-service international Chinese language teachers:starting from their needs, stimulating their learning motivation;presenting expert behavior to pre-service international language Chinese teachers by role models;using diverse evaluation methods to make the learning outcomes of pre-service international language Chinese teachers"visible".
