The Takeover and Transformation of Chang'an Silk Factory from 1949 to 1952
Chang'an Silk Factory is one of the predecessors of Zhejiang No.1 Silk Making Factory,the largest silk reeling factory in Zhe-jiang province that was established in 1952.In the early days of the People's Republic of China,the government of Zhejiang Province helped Chang'an Silk Factory,which served as a bureaucratic capital at that time,to resume operation,then took over the factory,re-formed its management system,promoted its technological innovation and greatly boosted workers' motivation in production.The takeover and transformation of Chang'an Silk Factory by the Communist Party of China maintained the stability of the factory order to the greatest extent,guaranteed the life of the workers,promoted the development of silk reeling industry,and strengthened the local state-owned e-conomy of Zhejiang province.
