Review and Prospect of Rural Leisure Research in China—Visualization Analysis Based on the CiteSpace Knowledge Graph
Rural leisure is an important aspect to realize comprehensive rural revitalization and improving the quality of life of the villagers.In this paper,CiteSpace software is used to conduct co-occurrence and cluster analysis of 176 articles published in CNKI in 1994-2023,and the study found that:(1)the research stage is divided into slow budding period(1994-2004),fluctuating growth period(2005-2023);(2)The research subjects are mostly scattered in different departments of comprehensive universities,lacking specialized research institutions systematically concerning about rural leisure;(3)The research content mainly focuses on five aspects:the value of rural leisure,the change of rural leisure life and the influenced factors,the comparison of urban and rural leisure behavior,leisure activities of rural special groups,and the construction of rural leisure culture;(4)The current state of research presents the richness of research content,diversification of research perspectives,diversity of research methods but also there still exists the problems of systematic insufficiency,theoretical insufficiency and lack of integration.Therefore,a specialized academic research institution can be formed in the future to improve the theoretical exploration of rural leisure and try to integrate research methodologies so as to enhance the domestic academic research on rural leisure.
