Some Reading Notes on the Collation of Fayuan Zhulin
Fayuan Zhulin is one of the most important documents for the study of Buddhism. By extensively collecting and sortting out relevant literature and studying the existing research results, this paper has tried to amend and complement 16 collations in Fayuan Zhulin based on the following works: comparing different editions, generalizing words examples, analyzing variant characters, differentiating words connotations, sorting out facts and elaborating textual meanings, with the hope that academic community shall be able to make better use of the book.
