How New Quality Productive Forces Affects Industrial Chain Modernization:Theoretical Basis and Empirical Facts
Based on the panel data of 30 provinces(autonomous region,municipality directly under the Central Government)in China except Xizang,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan from 2012 to 2022,the impact of new quality productive forces on industrial chain modernization is evaluated from the theoretical and empirical levels,and two possible transmission paths are verified on the basis.The research results show that:(1)New quality productive forces has a significant positive impact on industrial chain modernization,and this conclusion still holds after endogeneity test and robustness test.(2)The impact of new quality productive forces on industrial chain modernization has obvious heterogeneity,with the spatial pattern of"East>Central>Northwest"and the economic pattern of"high economic level region>low economic level region".(3)Mechanism analysis shows that new quality productive forces can promote industrial chain modernization through scientific and technological innovation and industrial structure optimization.
