The silk industry heritage has witnessed the transformation of modern China, carried the historical memory of the inheritance and improvement of China's silk technology, and inherited thousands of years of silk cultural history. It is an important component of China's industrial culture. In recent years, combined with the characteristics of the silk industry heritage, its protection and utilization practice has presented diversity, and the academic community has conducted relevant studies on it from different perspectives, including four aspects: heritage investigation and value analysis, urban development and architectural heritage renovation, heritage tourism research, and heritage archive protection research. Under the background of the country's increasing attention to the protection of industryl heritage and the"the Belt and Road"strategy, different disciplines should strengthen the cross-research on silk industryl heritage, which is conducive to improving the current protection and utilization mechanism of silk industry heritage.
