Research on Error Compensation Strategy for Three-coordinate Measuring Machine with Auxiliary Fixture
With the rapid development of advanced manufacturing technology, the requirements for part accuracy are also constant-ly increasing, and the accuracy of error detection is an important prerequisite to ensure part accuracy.During the operation of a coordi-nate measuring machine, the geometric error of the motion axis will significantly affect the detection results. To improve detection ac-curacy and efficiency,an auxiliary fixture for coordinate measuring machines was designed, and precise compensation for workpiece detection errors was achieved by fine-tuning the main motion direction.Taking gear error detection as an example, and based on the topology structure of the detection system,an array of Houston objects with lower serial numbers is derived,a geometric error trans-mission model including fixtures and gears is established, and a compensation strategy based on fixtures is proposed. The research re-sults provide a theoretical basis for detecting error compensation and also serve as a reference for error transmission models in other multi-axis movements.
